Barrow County will be implementing pollution prevention programs at all their
County-owned facilities to do our part in reducing the stormwater pollution from our properties. Some programs
the County is implementing include:
- Annual Employee Training on pollution prevention,
- Litter Pickup at County facilities and along public roadways,
- Inspection and Maintenance of the County Stormwater Management System, and
- Evaluation of existing county-owned stormwater facilities for retrofit to include water quality treatment.
Barrow County is trying to do our part in protecting our water resources.
