The purpose of the Public Education and Outreach program is to inform County residents and
businesses about the impacts of stormwater and about ways they can get involved to improve water quality in the community.

In School Programs
Keep Barrow Beautiful (a County run program) is developing an education program to use in County schools. This program will target a 6th grade audience,
and the County has set a goal of presenting the stormwater education program to at least one class per month.

Home/Business Owner Education
The County wants all residents to understand the part they play in stormwater pollution. The County has devoted an educational
page on this website that includes tips for reducing the stormwater pollution associated with your home or business.
